Want to build your confidence on radio or share your passion on podcasts?
Getting involved with our community radio could be for you!
Have you ever dreamed of being a radio presenter or a podcaster? Does the idea of talking Live on a broadcast make you feel uneasy? Do you want to have some real hands-on media experience? Well Micro Brew Radio could be the place for you!
Micro Brew Radio is a not-for-profit community radio station based in the Brewhouse Arts centre in Burton on Trent, from here we run our 24/7 stream of shows and music. All our shows are created by local people, with varying background experience - you don't have to be a professional to make a show here; you just need to be yourself. Our volunteers make shows about all sorts of topics including music, books, sport, politics, theatre, food and more.
Working on the radio has many benefits, it can help bolster your confidence, get you comfortable talking to new people and talking about yourself, it can help you find others who have the same hobbies and interests as you - and that's just the start. If any of this sounds good to you, we'd love to have a chat, get in touch with us here:
